Acute Stroke Online

The new Acute Stroke Online course is part of American Heart Association’s eLearning program and is ideal for inhospital, as well as out-of-hospital healthcare providers. This course provides training on the symptoms, diagnosis and management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and complications of stroke. Acute Stroke Online provides a higher level of information and is geared more for the experienced provider, covering treatment from the field to the emergency department, as well as critical care and rehabilitation. This course does not require in person skills check off.

This course, ideal for in-hospital healthcare professionals, provides high level information and training on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of stroke, as well as on the complications of stroke. Stroke Hospital-Based Care Online: This course does not require in person skills check off.

Learn:™ Rapid STEMI ID

Thousands of patients with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) fail to receive critical therapy in a timely fashion, and nearly 30 percent of patients with STEMI do not receive any reperfusion treatment at all. To help address these issues, the American Heart Association has created dynamic online program, Learn:TM Rapid STEMI ID. This self-directed, eLearning course prepares healthcare professionals to evaluate and assess victims with potential symptoms of myocardial infarction, interpret ECGs for signs
of STEMI, and activate a system of care for rapid reperfusion of an occluded coronary artery. This course does not require in person skills check off. (This class is not Mac compatible)

Learn:™ Rhythm Adult

Learn: Rhythm Adult is an online, self-directed course designed to introduce healthcare providers to normal cardiac rhythms and prepare them to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice. ECG recognition is a key skill required to be successful in determining a patient’s condition and knowing which algorithm to apply. This course allows healthcare providers to gain proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition in an effort to provide better patient treatment and save more lives.
